Abstract
The Alice Boër site is of great interest for South American archaeology as its stratigraphy represents a time span from 6000 to 14000 years BP from <sup>14</sup>C data. The results of a thermoluminescent study of more than 40 chert artifacts selected from all stratigraphic layers are presented. For cherts from the upper part, the archaeological doses vary with depth in the same way as <sup>14</sup>C ages, whereas cherts from the deeper layers were found to be in saturation. -- AATA
