Abstract
The threat by fungus and insects in the deterioration of museum objects in the tropical climate has been discussed. Proper precautionary measures in museums such as: cleanliness, proper ventilation, fumigation, fungicidal, and insecticidal treatment of objects and vigilance, can stop or at least minimize the effect of biodeterioration agents. -- AATA
