Abstract
Evidence for an Arsenical-Copper Age which pre-dated the Bronze Age is discussed. This has been postulated in various areas, or worldwide, for over a hundred years, and an age when pure copper was used was also suggested. Analyses of objects and investigations of copper smelting support the existence of an arsenical copper age at Azerbayan, and, at a later period, throughout the Caucasus. -- AATA
