Abstract
Diatret glasses, a peculiar type of Roman glass, of which a few examples were found in northwestern Germany, are characterized by a net of glass decorations and letters connected by the surface of the glass by tiny bridges of glass. The outer network was obtained by covering an inner bowl by an outer shell, into which the decoration was cut. -- AATA
