Abstract
The authors describe the use of a portable microcomputer for condition reporting on artifacts at the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. The documentation officer at the museum uses a Radio Shack TRS 80, model 100, and transfers the reports to disks using Wordstar on an IBM PC. The advantages and disadvantages of this procedure are discussed.
