Abstract
A description of the condition of this tempera painting before conservation and the conservation procedures. The problem was finding a fixative. Only Lascaux Acrylglasur 40X Glanz dissolved in a mixture of xylene and isopropyl alcohol in a one to one ratio did not cause the paint to darken.
