Abstract
This paper describes the finds from a rich grave of the Wessex Culture which were excavated in 1808. One of the gold objects in the grave was a decorative lozenge made of sheet gold. This has been conserved and the paper justifies the reshaping of the crushed object which has been carried out. -- AATA
