At the invitation of the Chinese Embassy, Canberra, a party of lecturers and students from the Department of Material Conservation, Canberra College of Advanced Education, visited the People's Republic of China. The group visited conservation facilities and museums in China, and Dr. Pearson's paper gives a report on the conservation facilities and activities observed on the visit.
