Abstract
A thermoluminescence technique for measurement of the Ê3-particle dose rate of pottery samples is described. The archaeological samples are compared with standard clay that is inter-calibrated with a primary standard prepared by mixing Th, U and K compounds with CaSO<sub>4</sub>. The estimated uncertainty of the method is 5%. -- AATA
