Abstract
Ascending paper chromatography of amino acids of two slate knife artifacts derived from archaeological excavation sites in British Columbia is described using BuOH/AcOH/ distilled water (6:3.5:1.5) as mobile phase. Eleven amino acids were separated by the method, and their <i>Rf values were compared with known values. -- AATA
