The identification of fillers and pigments in paper is faster, simpler and more precise when using x-ray diffraction. Among other advantages, the method helps to disclose fluctuations in content of ashes or sizing weight as well as the disparity in filler distribution which conditions the paper's capacity for impression. -- AATA
