Abstract
Reviews some of the issues debated at the conference on the general theme of the education and employment of conservation graduates and refers to the relevant material presented in the publication. The issues examined are: 1) the current changes taking place in conservation practice; 2) the demand for and supply of qualified conservation graduates; and 3) the design of curricula in training programs. Alternative ways of adapting educational curricula to meet the increasing needs of the field are then considered.
