Abstract
Several spot tests for detecting microgram quantities of metals in a variety of samples are described in detail. The method uses chemical reagents, filter paper, and a simply-constructed ring oven over an electric hot plate. An electrolytic technique for obtaining very small samples from valuable coins is also explained. -- AATA
