Abstract
Quantitative analyses of titanium dioxide, silicone dioxide and aluminum oxide in the ash of paper by the x-ray fluorescence method were in good agreement with the standard method. This result indicates that x-ray fluorescence is a valuable tool for the determination of paper fillers and pigments, giving a reproducibility of about 1%. -- AATA
