The ascription of animal bones was revised and corrected. Brown bear, lynx, aurochs, bison (<i>bonasus</i>), red deer and roebuck indicate an environment of open woods (12,000 BC, pre-Bölling period). Remains of a <i>canis</i>, formerly ascribed to a wolf, showed clear signs of domestication <i>(C. familiaris)</i>, the first house-dog reported so far in the literature. Domestication had probably been an independent process using native wolf populations at different geographic centers all over the world.
