Abstract
Conservators and furnishings curators collaborated on a study of furniture from the Bishop's House, Sitka National Historical Park, some pieces shipped in 1849 from St. Petersburg and others made in Sitka at the time. Analyses of structure, wood, paint, as well as X-ray examination accompanied restoration. The article reports unexpected findings.
