Abstract
A 10-day course taught by conservators of the North Atlantic Region, National Park Service, teaches employees involved with collection care basic methods of environmental monitoring and control, specimen storage and display techniques, housekeeping in relation to collection care, and basic use of a single lens reflex camera in recording specimens and their condition. The region also offers short courses at two advanced levels for park museum staff with more responibility.
