The albumen print's instability is discussed. Restoration copy work is recommended for removing stains from old black-and-white photos. Storage conditions and materials are discussed from the perspective of prevention of deterioration. Four suppliers of archival quality mounting and storage materials are identified with addresses provided. A recommendation of both film and printing process to insure maximum stability of photographic image is given.
