Abstract

The Golden Gate Society compared three analytical methods for determining the water content of an emulsion paint. These were: 1) California Air Resources Board Method; 2) ASTM Proposed Method; and 3) Modified Karl Fischer Method. The results of the comparison are discussed. The third method was found to be the best of the three. -- AATA
