Three coating materials are described: Xecote can be applied to plastics and metals, specifically acrylics, polycarbonates, polyphenylene oxide, fiberglass, and sandblasted steel; test results for thermal shock and salt spray are available. ESL 4026 sealing glass produces a clear transparent seal on alumina and other substrate materials with similar coefficients of expansion. Data is given on the epoxy-resin system, Stycast 1426: its impact strength and curing temperature. -- AATA
