Second expanded edition of a bibliography first published in 1987 when it was presented at the Sixth International Restorer Seminar in Veszprém, Hungary. The bibliography covers theses, dissertations, and research reports in conservation and conservation-related fields. The updated and expanded second edition now covers 3,500 titles from 74 training institutions in 20 countries; this increase in corrected material made it necessary to use a database for processing the information. (The system used is IBM-compatible and facilitates indexing and future extension of the bibliography.) The work comprises four parts: a list of titles; a list of authors; a list of institutions; and a detailed subject index. See also AATA 24-310 and 28-443.
