Pests in storage-rooms are big enemies to cultural relics made of organic materials. The prevention and killing of pest is of great importance for the protection of cultural relics made of organic materials. In connection with current status of potential danger of pest in storage-rooms for cultural relics, this article analyzes the causes of pest damage, suggests measures to prevent pest and introduces several methods to kill pest that are commonly used in the field of preservation of cultural relics. -- MCI
