Abstract
The section of stratum in archaeological excavation occupies an important place in the field of historical research. Using the new materials and technologies developed by Japan Nara Institute of Cultural Property, the work of taking off the section of stratum sheet specimens in Beijing Liulihe ruins was completed, which took steps of pasting up resin, sticking on gauze, taking off, washing, disposing surface, etc. The success in this taking off offers a new method of accurate recording, preserving, researching and exhibiting materials of archaeological excavation. It opens up a beautiful vista for archaeological excavation.
