The Santa Anna hermitage is a monument that takes us back to the origin of our history, dating back as far as the 12th and 14th centuries. Graphic evidence exists since 1595 in its plan: Especial Contribution of the Huerta of Valencia (Duarte/Cassaus). This project intends to thoroughly study and understand this monument in order to propose an adequate intervention. To this purpose, analyses, drawings and studies have been carried out on the hermitage and its factories, and its pathologies have been identified. All this with a view to proposing a project to return it to its former splendor and to evidence the marks of time. The diversity of constructive techniques shows us the richness of the building: garden walls, masonry, ashlars work, brick factories, arches, rib vaults, gessos… and a never ending list of solutions allow us to travel back in time through the history of construction of our popular and architectonic Valencian heritage.
