The UNESCO project to restore the temple of Borobudur in Java is described. Individual stones are removed, washed, picked clean of algae and moss, and treated with Hyvar X weed killer to inhibit future plant growth. Hyvar X, made by Dupont, is a wettable powder that can be mixed with water and applied as a liquid spray. -- AATA
