Abstract
A collection of Russian public posters on clay ground wood paper were extremely brittle highly discoloured and acidic. They were washed in water / methylcellulose solution, sized with 0.5% methylcellulose solution, flattened, repaired using japanese tissue and cellulose acetate adhesive in acetone, flattened. Leafcasting was used to integrate losses, deacidification was with calcium hydroxide solution or Wei To no.2. Finally all were encapsulated. References.
