Copper carbonate corrosion material on the gilt silver objects was removed through immersion in formic acid solution and by mechanical cleaning. The pieces were then consolidated with paraloid b72 resin. A fragmented wine sieve was consolidated with epoxy resin under infrared radiation. References.
