Methods for monitoring the rate of photopolymerization of vehicles are reviewed. All depend on following the loss of monomer or production of polymer and comprise methods based on IR spectroscopy, UV spectroscopy, gravimetry, dilatometry, monomer extraction, viscosity, light scattering, exotherm development, polarography, electrical resistance and film tests. -- AATA
