Abstract
Scientific analyses revealed the materials and technique used in the execution of the panel painting identified in the title of this paper. This research, along with the optical examination of the panels in Padua, enabled a decision to be made concerning an appropriate method of conservation and restoration of the Fogg panel. After restoration was completed, it became evident that the Angelo Principato in this collection (Fogg Art Museum) did, indeed, once belong to the group of paintings once decorating the ceiling of the Reggia Chapel of the Carrera Palace (Padua, Italy). -- AATA
