Abstract
The science of microfilm is directly related to photographic science; consequently, both technologies share many of the same concepts and technical terms. It is important, therefore, to understand photographic terms and to know how they apply to microfilm. This chapter provides you with a basic grounding in both concepts and technical language to enable you to make your technical microfilm decisions in a more knowledgeable and professional manner.
