Abstract
This report is a summary of a lecture given by Ms. Phyllis Dillon of the Textile Conservation Workshop, South Salem, New York. Observations on textile conservation in various types of institutions are made based on a three-month study tour of Britain. National, municipal, and local museums are discussed as well as area museum services and private conservators. Training programs in textile conservation are briefly described. -- AATA
