Abstract
The adhesion of polyurethane and epoxy paints to metal plates is proven to be increased by the use of primers based on organosilanes. Torque shear and direct pull-off tests are performed before and after accelerated weathering with good results. See also AATA 20-703 for Part 2 and 21-2281 for Part 5.
