Abstract
Study of the deterioration and restoration of the Canberra merry-go-round. It describes solvent cleaning of resin-coated painted surfaces, their protective coating, and subsequent exposure to weather over a seven-year period. Weather conditions resulted in rapid deterioration. Recommendations are made for a thorough restoration of the paintings followed by enclosure in a controlled environment.
