Abstract
In conjunction with the Environmental Quality Laboratory/California Institute of Technology, the Conservation Center of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art has begun a long term study of effects of air pollution on works of art and artists' materials. A proposed study of the effects of ozone on organic pigments is described, as well as computer modelling of various air pollution conditions within various sizes and types of buildings.
