Abstract
This paper deals with the examination, treatment, mounting, and light protection of a pre-Columbian Peruvian textile fragment. Four light protective materials -- Llumar polyester film, Solar Screen polyester film, Lexan polycarbonate rigid plastic, UF-3 Plexiglas acrylic rigid plastic -- were examined for their effectiveness when incorporated in simple framing.
