The author discusses the historic, stylistic, and technical aspects of a bronze statuette of Isis-Aphrodite which belongs to The Johns Hopkins Archaeological Collection. A radiograph of the statuette is illustrated, and the manufacture of the figure using separately molded wax parts for lost-wax casting is described. -- AATA
