Abstract
A proprietary range of metallic flake pigments -- based on nickel, stainless steel, and cupronickel -- has been developed for high performance coatings exposed to corrosive, high temperature, and abrasive attack. Nickel flakes are also used in conductive coatings having good radio-frequency and electromagnetic shielding performance. Some uses, e.g. in water-borne and powder coatings, are detailed. -- AATA
