Abstract
Temperature is thought to be the major growth-affecting parameter in high-altitude bristlecone pine. Data from La Jolla and Campito Mountain bristle-cone show a convincing correlation between variations of cosmic-ray produced <sup>14</sup>C and annual growth ring widths. -- AATA
