Abstract
The paper deals with the technology, conservation and restoration of non-European ethnographic bark. Objects in the Cook-collection, Vienna were used as examples. For example, the restoration of a piece of Hawaiian tapa cloth is presented. The authors also give guidelines for conservation of bark objects. -- AATA
