These papers were presented at the 1987 Graduate Training Programs Conference hosted by the Art Conservation Program, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, on behalf of the Association of Graduate Training Programs in Conservation. One day of the conference, cosponsored with the Getty Conservation Institute, was devoted to the topic of conservation management. Speakers were invited to address topics related to management in the broadest sense, covering legal issues, financial considerations, and organizational problems.
