Abstract
A set of 102 measurements made in situ, defined the gamut of colors in the polychrome paintings in the Altamira cave, Santander, Spain. Comparison of these color data with the results of a second set of measurements made during the winter indicated that there were no color changes associated with differences in the humidity conditions of the rock. -- AATA
