This short article describes four rules of record care: 1) Keep the playing surfaces of discs from contacting other surfaces or objects--particularly the fingertips; 2) Eliminate surface dust; 3) Do what you can to combat static electricity; and 4) Approach fluids and other chemical treatments with utmost caution.
