Abstract
This entry compares the physical and biological properties of four phenyl mercury compounds. Tests show that phenyl mercury compounds affect fungicidal activity and toxicity to mammals. The most striking result is the low biological activity of the sequestered ion in the ethylene diamine compound when compared with phenyl mercury as the acetate.
