This article discusses the effect of radiation on exhibited objects and also the types of radiation involved. It includes a detailed comparison between solar and electrical radiation both directly on objects and through display cases/glass in a wet or dry environment. The potential photochemical changes which could result from exposure and temperature changes which indicate problems are also discussed.
