The chemistry, mineralogy and porosity of the Terra Sigillata from La Péniche (Switzerland) is investigated. Two distinct types were produced in this area, but the research suggests that both were fired at the same temperature of 1000-1050°C, and both have similar mineralogical, chemical and porosimetrical compositions.
