Abstract
In order to find a way to protect and restore worn ancient silk clothes, some unearthed worn silk clothes from the Ming Dynasty were examined and tested. It is proved that these silk clothes can be restored by different traditional ways. After repair, the silk clothes stay smooth, and the traditional methods are currently turning out to be most proper and useful ones. -- ICCROM
