Abstract
The addition of enzymes to stock solutions of disodium hydrogen orthophosphate anhydrous or sodium dihydrogen orthophosphate and methylcellulose allows adhesive stains to be broken down chemically by splitting proteins and converting starches into soluble sugars. The viscous methylcellulose solution allows local treatment of stains.
