Abstract
Best insecticide for fumigation of library material, excluding parchment, was found to be ethylene oxide. Pyrethroids was found to be the most valuable contact insecticide because of its low toxicity and rapid decomposition by chemical and biological agents. List of more important insecticides with notes is given.
