Abstract
Numerous studies during decades of the last century have contributed to the application of lead isotope analyses to trace the metal source of ancient bronzes. Qin et al. raised some related questions once again, and stressed that lead isotope analyses could not reveal the source information of copper, tin or lead in bronze research. This paper suggests that the experimental data contradict with the viewpoints they put out in their report, and their conclusion lacks tenability. -- ICCROM
