The fragments of gold foils adhered to the mummified hands, material which was used for filling up the mummies, white films and coatings on the skull and hand of mummies and synthetic eyeballs of mummies were investigated. The following methods were used: chemical microanalysis, qualitative and semiqualitative emission spectral analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, infrared spectroscopy and differential thermal analysis.
